About

A multi-instrumentalist and forward-thinking bedroom producer, Jonathan Ogden has been crafting soul-stirring music since 2010. Previously the lead singer of the band Rivers & Robots, with a diverse discography spanning 7 EPs, 8 albums and a whole host of singles and collaborations, Jonathan’s music exists in the in-between. Boldly exploring the intersection of visual art and music, of acoustic and electronic, the traditional and the experimental, the introspective and the transcendent.

With an unwavering authenticity and an ever-evolving sound, Jonathan’s songs have reached millions of listeners worldwide.

From the psalm-like electronic pop of “Slow Down” and “Future Forever” to the intimate acoustic songs of “Take Me Back” and “Songs From Home”, to the beat-driven concept album “Twenty Four”, which explores the theme of time through 24 songs inspired by every hour of the day - Jonathan delights in re-invention. Embracing every opportunity to push boundaries and try something new.

Being the son of a pastor and the youngest in a musical family, faith and music were always intertwined, and living in a creative city like Manchester just further fuelled the artistic curiosity. He sometimes describes his songs as “prayers set to music”.

After touring the Future Forever album around Europe and Asia, Jonathan is now spending time writing new songs for release in 2025.
